Thank you Nobel Museum

Received great news today from the Nobel Museum in Sweden. Roughly two months ago, I sent my submission in to the Nobel Museum Bookbinding Exhibition, an edition of Tomas Tranströmer’s Madrigal that I bound in true quarter goatskin with covers and slipcase in birch and zebrawood. And today, I received this in the mail:

(from the exhibition’s website)“An exhibition on the poet and Nobel Prize Laureate Tomas Tranströmer opens in February 2013. The exhibition is produced in collaboration with Nina Ulmaja, book designer and Head of design at Albert Bonniers Förlag. Apart from a poetic presentation of Tranströmer’s body of work, circa 100 bookbinders from 18 countries will contribute with unique interpretations of the poet’s work.”

So, if you happen to be in or passing through Stockholm, check out the exhibition which opens at the Nobel Museum on February 16, 2013. I’m tempted to take a glance at airfares myself.
